Nordmarkens School is located in the southern part of Årjäng and is the municipality's largest school. It is a K-9 school with approximately 700 students and over 100 staff members. We have a relatively new building (2020) for grades 1-6, including an adapted primary school for grades 1-9. The middle school building was completed in 2015, where grades 3-6 also receive instruction in several practical subjects. There is also a preschool class, after-school care, and a culture school on the premises. We have a well-functioning support system aimed at quickly identifying students' needs and providing early support. The school has special education teachers, a special educator, a counselor, a school nurse, a study and career counselor, and through student health services, access to a school psychologist and school doctor. We are looking for someone who: • Is a certified teacher qualified to teach grades 4-6. • Has a strong ability to create structure, build relationships, and adapt teaching to meet students' needs. • Ideally has experience or knowledge of language and knowledge-developing methods, as this is a merit since we have begun such development work. • Mentorship is included in the position.
