**Workplace Description**
On January 10, 2023, we finally opened our doors to students at the newly built Midsommarkransen School located at Bäckvägen 1 in the heart of Midsommarkransen.
We are a K-9 school with approximately 950 students, but our fantastic and unique facilities can accommodate up to 1,000 students. The school operates with three parallel classes up to grade 9 in primary school and includes four classes within our adapted primary school. As the school grows, we need to recruit even more competent and dedicated staff.

The school already has a fantastic staff with many competent, experienced, and dedicated educators in various roles, including our own school librarian. Our student health team consists of special educators, a school psychologist, a counselor, school nurses, a school doctor, and study and career counselors. In our administrative team, we have school secretaries, an IT coordinator, a caretaker, and our kitchen team prepares meals from scratch in our school restaurant. The school management consists of a principal, four assistant principals, and an administrative manager.
**Job Description**
One of our current teachers will be going on parental leave, and we are therefore seeking engaged, collaborative, and goal-oriented teachers who are qualified to teach mathematics for grades 7-8 during the spring term.
Being a clear and confident leader in the classroom who understands the importance of building relationships with your students is central to this position. You have high expectations for the students and involve them in planning while developing their ability to learn, both independently and collaboratively. You take responsibility for and have insight into the students' results, ensuring that an accessible and stimulating learning environment is created. This includes supporting students with difficulties as well as those who need challenges. You enjoy working systematically with your colleagues to enhance goal achievement.
To thrive in your role, you need to be able to work in a changing environment where you contribute to the development and well-being of our school. You will teach mathematics for grades 7-8, and there may also be teaching in other subjects if the situation requires it. Mentorship is included in the position.
**Qualifications**
You are qualified to teach mathematics.
It is an advantage if you are qualified in additional subjects.
We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
Interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis. The position may be filled by a surplus teacher.
