What We Offer The Dermatology and Venereology Section is part of the Medicine, Dermatology, and Rheumatology area and includes dermatology and venereology clinics, occupational dermatology clinic, dermatology ward, and day care. The various units investigate, care for, and treat skin and sexually transmitted diseases. In addition to standard diagnostics and treatment, we have several specialized areas where we also receive referrals from across the country and region, such as laser treatments and a special clinic for hereditary skin diseases. We have been granted permission by the National Board of Health and Welfare to provide highly specialized care in the areas of gender diseases and severe skin symptoms. Our dermatology clinic sees approximately 15,000 patient visits per year. The most common diagnoses we treat are psoriasis, eczema, and various forms of skin tumors. Working with us involves both ward and clinic work, as well as consultation services during daytime hours. Research and teaching are conducted within the practice. Although the hospital is large, the distance between our various specialist areas is never far. Here, you will also have the opportunity to develop through stimulating interactions with colleagues and patients, and by mentoring medical students. Your Qualifications You are a licensed physician with experience in dermatology and venereology. You have a strong interest in education and medical development within the practice area.
