Stentägtskolan is seeking a substitute elementary school teacher for grade 5.
Your Assignment
Together with other educators in the team and subject colleagues, your responsibilities will include leading and taking responsibility for the educational work in the organization based on the goals of the curriculum. You will plan, implement, and evaluate the educational programs.
In our school, collaborative learning is significant, and as an elementary school teacher, you will work closely with other colleagues. You will plan, implement, and evaluate your teaching according to current governing documents. Your tasks will include assessing and documenting students' knowledge development. Along with your colleagues, you will continue to develop your teaching methods to ensure that all students succeed in school. An essential part of this is to continue enhancing the school’s efforts towards accessible learning environments and language and knowledge-developing working methods.
Description of the Workplace
Stentägtskolan is a centrally located elementary school for grades F-6. In addition to its new, fresh premises with a pleasant atmosphere, the school offers a stimulating and exciting work environment alongside dedicated staff. We work to ensure that students take ownership of their learning, feel secure, and that everyone succeeds!
Your Competence
We are looking for someone who has experience as an elementary school teacher for grades 4-6. You will be a good fit for this position if you are a calm and stable individual who can maintain a realistic perspective on situations and focus on the right priorities. You are proactive, accustomed to initiating activities, working towards set goals, and achieving results.
To thrive in this role, you should be someone who can lead, motivate, and provide others with the tools necessary to effectively reach common objectives. You create engagement and participation while being outgoing and socially active. It is essential that you enjoy collaborating with others, listen, communicate, and can resolve potential conflicts constructively.
