We are seeking someone with a big heart and a desire to make a difference in children's lives. We prefer candidates who find it easy to collaborate with others and have the ability to be flexible and responsive to meet children's needs.
Qualifications:
• Educated preschool teacher with a preschool teacher license
• Proficiency in the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is required.
• You are well-acquainted with the curriculum's goals regarding teaching and learning.
• You have experience working and leading systematic quality work at the group level.
• You have good knowledge of Office365. Previous experience in preschool operations is highly meritorious.
About Äventyrsbåtens Preschool
Norlandia Preschools Äventyrsbåten opened in January 2017, located in Västra Hamnen next to Turning Torso. There are good commuting options as we are close to bus routes and bike paths in Malmö, making it easy to commute by bike. In our bright and secure premises, with our own outdoor area and proximity to green spaces, we create a preschool environment where every child can explore, develop, and feel at home. Here, high pedagogical quality is combined with joy, community, and curiosity – every day.
Additional Information
• Employment type: Temporary position during parental leave with the possibility of extension
• Scope: 80-100%
• Working hours: Daytime, with evening meetings occasionally.
• Start date: January 2026
We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
A criminal record check is required upon employment. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must be able to demonstrate that you have a valid work permit or are exempt from the requirement to have a work permit. Employment can only occur after verification of the work permit, as required by the Aliens Ordinance.
