Your Assignment
We are looking for an engaged preschool teacher for a temporary position at Sandarne Preschool.
The preschool is located along the coast south of Söderhamn's center. Proximity to the sea and the forest are important elements of our operations. The preschool has approximately 60 children divided into two departments: Stranden and Vågen.
We systematically work to develop our teaching and have a strong belief that quality is created through continuous reflection and ongoing development of our activities. Our work is based on a clear pedagogical idea where collaboration with families is an obvious part. We believe in building relationships and that teaching should be inclusive. Here, we place great importance on children's play, participation, and influence.
As a preschool teacher with us, you will have the opportunity to shape the teaching together with colleagues, the principal, and the special educator. You are expected to have a close collaboration with families, which provides good conditions to meet each child's needs.
You will work as a so-called "runner," which means you will work in both departments, where the need is greatest for that day. Therefore, it is important that you are adaptable and confident in yourself and your role.
The position is a temporary contract until May 31, 2026.
