Who are we?
Galaxens Preschool is located in Vilbergen, close to nature experiences and teaching in forests and parks. The preschool consists of 5 departments, and we work in age-divided groups. Together with Kättsätters Preschool, we form a unit with a shared principal.

Your responsibilities
As a preschool teacher with us, you will be responsible for translating the preschool's governing documents and the unit's prioritized goals into action. You will develop the operations together with your team and ensure that the project-based approach is rooted in the children's interests, developmental needs, and Lpfö 18. You will harness the children's knowledge, curiosity, willingness, and desire to learn.
You will be responsible for leading the goal-oriented processes and ensuring that care, development, and learning form a cohesive whole in your teaching.
As a preschool teacher with us, you will have dedicated time each week for personal reflection as well as reflection with your team. Together with the principal and colleagues, you will be responsible for fostering a positive collaborative climate and a professional approach that creates joy in the workplace and promotes goal fulfillment.
Who are you?
We are looking for a licensed preschool teacher with knowledge of thematic/project-oriented teaching, pedagogical documentation, and a good understanding of the preschool's mission and governing documents.
As a person, you are confident and skilled at building trusting relationships. You have an approach and view of children that makes everyone in our organization feel seen, accepted, and valued based on their unique circumstances and abilities. You possess good pedagogical insight and are curious, have a focus on possibilities, and can stimulate curiosity in others.
You have a quality mindset and are driven to contribute to the further development of the preschool. Together with children and colleagues, you create innovative thinking, a desire to explore, and joy in discovery at multiple levels within the organization. You have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
You communicate information clearly and confidently, adapting your language to your audience and ensuring that everyone understands. In this way, you build trusting relationships with children, guardians, and colleagues. You are flexible and can adapt to changing circumstances that arise during the workday while maintaining calm in stressful situations.
