Welcome to us We are currently seeking a temporary unit manager for five of our daily operations in Södermalm, as the regular unit manager will be going on parental leave in April. The temporary position will last until August 2026. The position is located within the Social Department, area of service providers, in Södermalm. The department is responsible for social services and care for individuals with disabilities. Together, we work to develop a cohesive social service focused on results for our residents. You will be supervised by one of the area managers of the service provider units and will have 14 unit manager colleagues, who operate the department's services on behalf of the clients. Your role We are looking for a temporary unit manager who, with commitment, courage, and the ability to inspire others, wants to be part of our exciting development journey focused on the users. In the coming years, both quality for our users and good management of our tax funds will be a priority. Our daily operations are funded through revenue. As a unit manager, you will have operational and budget responsibility as well as personnel responsibility for the 21 employees you lead. You will be part of a smaller management group with 4 unit managers. For this role, we require that you have experience working within LSS (the Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) and daily operations. You will be responsible for ensuring that the operations are conducted in accordance with laws, guidelines, and policies, thereby fulfilling the assignment in accordance with LSS. You will actively engage in systematic work environment management and quality work. You will practice close leadership, spending a significant portion of your time in the operations to continuously provide support and guidance to the employees. You will have two team leaders to assist you in your daily work, and you can always turn to your colleagues and your supervisor when needed. You are goal- and results-oriented and view the operations from a holistic perspective. You have a strong interest in quality within the operational area. You should have the ability to motivate and lead your employees towards set goals. You should possess good collaboration skills and be able to adapt to changing circumstances. Your qualifications and experience You are clear, communicative, and structured with a high degree of personal maturity and self-awareness. To thrive with us and best fit into our context, you should have: - Management experience that includes budget, work environment, and personnel responsibility - Experience working within municipal operations - Good knowledge of applicable labor laws - Experience with and good knowledge of LSS, preferably daily operations - Strong ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing Other In this recruitment process, we will place great emphasis on personal qualities.
