About the Role and Your Responsibilities
As a Unit Manager, you are responsible for investigating and following up on interventions in accordance with the Social Services Act, LVU, and LVM, as well as open care services for the target group.
You are responsible for the operations, employees, and finances of the investigation team, intervention and support team, and school social team in collaboration with the Education Administration.
You are expected to be well-versed in and lead the unit's daily work, collaborate with internal and external partners while working with your fellow unit manager to oversee the unit's and area's development and operations. As a unit manager, you will be supported by a unit administrator and administrative support directed at the operations.
We work purposefully with collaboration and offer a wide range of interventions that make it possible to adapt help and support services to needs. A holistic approach and user participation in various assignments are also key success factors. We value the positive collaborative climate internally with colleagues within social services and other external actors.
As a unit manager, you will be part of a management team together with other management colleagues within the operational area.
We Are Seeking
You are a trained social worker with experience in exercising authority according to the Social Services Act, LVU, LVM. You need to have documented leadership experience and/or have completed Lund Municipality's development program "Potential Leaders". Within the Labor Market and Social Administration, we are deepening our understanding of trust-based leadership to broadly implement it in our operations.
To thrive and succeed in this assignment, we believe you have good collaborative abilities and are accustomed to working structured and goal-oriented. You are stable, clear, and confident in your leadership, with a strong ability to lead and create conditions for your employees and the development of operations.

About the Workplace
We are part of the Labor Market and Social Administration where approximately 600 employees provide support to Lund residents who need social services interventions. Together, we ensure that children and young people have the best possible upbringing. We start from the entire family's situation and that no one should come to harm. This involves providing support to adults with harmful substance use and dependencies or mental functional impairments, those needing financial assistance, guardianship, management, or support to study or work, as well as refugees.
