Are you interested in direct social work by supporting individuals with acquired brain injuries in their development? We are now seeking a coach for a long-term temporary position at our daily activity center Danderyd North.
About the Role
The work involves supporting individuals with acquired brain injuries in their development. At Nytida's daily activity center, our primary focus is the individual.
The individually tailored approach is paramount. We start from the person's needs, interests, motivation, and most importantly, their resources. Therefore, activities vary from person to person. This could involve developing through physical activity, education, crafts, or simply meeting others to socialize and discuss life. Your tasks will also include collaborating with participants to set goals, plan, and document according to the current implementation plan, as well as maintaining contacts with case managers and networks.
About Danderyd North
Danderyd North is a daily activity center that receives individuals with acquired brain injuries. Various daytime activities are offered, such as training, baking, creative activities, walks, and conversation groups. The facility is located approximately a 5-minute walk from Danderyd Hospital, with close proximity to public transportation and green areas.
The work team consists of six employees, with the unit manager working closely within the operation.
Your Experience and Knowledge
You have upper secondary education in healthcare and social care, such as a nursing assistant qualification. You have excellent Swedish language skills in both spoken and written communication, good computer skills, and experience with documentation. We prefer candidates with experience working in daily activity centers. Beyond your CV, your personal qualities are most important. If you have the right characteristics, we will support and help you grow.
You have a positive outlook and strong commitment to people, are responsible, and demonstrate personal maturity. You enjoy teamwork, supporting your colleagues, and always prioritize the best interests of our participants.
