We are an outpatient clinic for adults with substance use issues and their relatives.
We work with open interventions in close collaboration with social workers and with the region's addiction center located in nearby facilities. Our shared mission is to operate according to national guidelines for the treatment of harmful use and dependence, as well as Stockholm County's policy for preventing and treating harmful use and dependence.
The clinic consists of seven therapists and two case managers, along with a unit manager. The psychosocial work is divided into different phases: Phase 1 - preparatory treatment, Phase 2 - basic treatment, and Phase 3 - aftercare. Our treatments are based on CBT and 12-step theoretical foundations. Treatment is conducted both individually and in groups.
Job responsibilities:
- Individual and group therapy based on both CBT and 12-step theoretical foundations
- Other tasks occurring at the clinic
What we are looking for in you:
- Relevant therapeutic education deemed suitable by the employer, or a degree in social work or an equivalent academic qualification considered comparable by the employer.
- Good experience working with the treatment of individuals with harmful use and dependence.
- Experience working with group therapy.
- Experience working with individual therapy.
Meritorious qualifications include:
- Basic training in CBT, 12-step, CRA, MI, relapse prevention, controlled drinking, and gambling addiction treatment
- Step-1 training
- Familiarity with municipal social services and experience working within a politically governed organization.
