About this role

We are strengthening our team over the course of a year and are therefore looking for you – a temporary occupational therapist who wants to make a real difference! Apply and become a part of our dedicated team. Your Mission As next year presents new challenges, we feel the need to reinforce the rehabilitation unit with a temporary occupational therapist. As an occupational therapist within the rehabilitation unit in Eslöv, you will have overall responsibility for rehabilitation and create important conditions for patients to live as independently and meaningfully as possible through rehabilitation, training, and assistive device prescriptions. You will work closely with other professionals in the care chain, such as physiotherapists, nurses, nursing staff, care coordinators, unit managers, and both internal and external colleagues. Together, we work to create a comprehensive solution for the individual. You will participate in team meetings, care planning, and nursing discussions based on individual needs. You will also contribute to the development work within the unit and with other professional categories in the team. The intended placement is in the district. Your Experience We expect that you, as an applicant, have: • Swedish professional license as an occupational therapist. • A valid driver's license for manual transmission. • Good computer skills and the ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, as documentation is part of the job. It is advantageous if you have: • Previous experience working as an occupational therapist and experience in multidisciplinary work within municipal operations. Are You the One? About the Workplace The municipality's rehabilitation unit is responsible for providing rehabilitation for individuals who, due to disabilities or care needs, cannot access primary care rehabilitation. We have physiotherapists and occupational therapists who assess and evaluate rehabilitation needs. The rehabilitation unit also includes rehabilitation assistants. Our facilities are centrally located in Eslöv, within walking distance of the train station. These facilities are shared with the municipality's nurses and part of the home care services. Occupational therapists in Eslöv municipality have close interdisciplinary collaboration with physiotherapists, nurses, nursing staff, care coordinators, and unit managers. There is also a medical officer responsible for rehabilitation (MAR) in Eslöv. We are continuously working on improvements for the future.
