Substitute for Our Outer Schools
As a substitute in preschool and school, you will work as a childcare worker, teacher, teacher's assistant, preschool teacher, or leisure pedagogue based on your competence and experience.
It is meritorious to have formal education such as a preschool teacher, childcare worker, or teacher, or alternatively other relevant education.
You do not need to choose only one of these roles and are very welcome to work with multiple assignments.

What Requirements Do We Have for Our Substitutes?
To become a substitute in school/preschool, we look for someone with an approved high school education or other education/knowledge that the employer deems equivalent. Good Swedish language skills, both verbally and in writing, are a requirement. Having a driver's license is meritorious for working with us. For employment as a substitute in school and preschool, a valid extract from the criminal record register is required.
Work as a Substitute at the Staffing Unit in Säffle Municipality
In this advertisement, we are looking for those with a driver's license and car who can reach our outer schools in rural areas. These are schools located in Svanskog, Nysäter, Botilsäter, Värmlandsbro, and Kila. If you live nearby and can get to the school by other means, we naturally do not require a driver's license.
We are looking for someone who is flexible and easy to collaborate with. As a substitute, you will be booked for many different workplaces and teams.
As a substitute at the staffing unit, you will staff short-term absences, meaning absences up to two weeks. There are also substitute positions up to 3 months. When working as an hourly employee, it is expected that you can work within our operations on short notice. As an hourly employee, you have no fixed placement and may work on different units throughout Säffle Municipality.
We prioritize people with the right competence for the operation and place great importance on personal suitability. We expect you as an hourly substitute to be a good ambassador for our municipality. You are employed as intermittent, and bookings to workplaces are based on the operation's needs and will vary. Your working hours may vary over time.
Terms
We will make a selection from the applications, and those who proceed will be invited to an interview.
After the interview, you will be informed whether you are offered employment or not. Our intention is to provide you with feedback within 3-4 weeks from the time of application.
