DUTIES
As a personal assistant, you work in the user's home providing care and support work, as well as other household tasks. You plan the day based on the user's needs, wishes, and daily condition. Most importantly, you are available and create security and a meaningful daily life for the user.
You should be prepared to work independently as there is no double staffing. Personal chemistry is important, and you should have good social skills to adapt to the user's and family's life. Great importance will be placed on loyalty and social ability. Work hours include day and evening shifts, weekend service, and night shifts may also occur.
QUALIFICATIONS
Good knowledge of the Swedish language is required. It is meritorious if you have a nursing assistant education or other education/experience that the employer deems equivalent, as well as experience working with people with disabilities.
