About Us
Nordic Home Service is a family business established since 2002. The company was founded by sisters Maria Irebro and Marie-Louise Bergqvist. Today, we have approximately 150 employees working in Danderyd, Östermalm, and Södermalm.
Nordic Home Service has a contract with the City of Stockholm. In our work, we follow established routines and guidelines along with continuous quality controls.
Good quality of care is important to us. Our goal is for all our customers to feel satisfied and secure with our care. By collaborating with healthcare personnel, district nurses, and Advanced Home Healthcare (ASiH), we can develop and personalize care and support.
We are now seeking several temporary workers to cover for regular staff in home care during the Christmas and New Year holidays.
Qualifications
• Valid B driver's license
• Experience in service-related work
• Good Swedish language skills (both verbal and written)
• Good physical condition, as the work involves physically demanding tasks

Great importance will be placed on personal suitability. We appreciate candidates with good interpersonal skills who want to take responsibility. You should have the ability to plan and organize, and be positive, cheerful, and helpful.
Job Responsibilities
Working in home care means working independently with significant responsibility. Simultaneously, you are part of our team with daily contact with our customers and their relatives. Your tasks include planning and performing care work in customers' homes such as:
- Personal care (assistance with personal hygiene, mobility, dressing)
- Services (cooking, grocery shopping, cleaning, and laundry)
- Accompaniment (accompanying customers to activities outside the home)
After each visit, you will complete thorough documentation and time registration in a mobile application, traveling between customers on foot, by bicycle, or by car.
Customer visits occur between 07:00-22:00, every day of the year. We prefer candidates who are flexible and can work both day and evening shifts, as well as weekends.
We prefer candidates who can work 70-90% and do not have other employment.
