About the school:
Hedda Wisingskolan is a school for grades 7-9 with approximately 350 students and 50 staff members. Our school is a place for challenges, curiosity, and learning—a place where everyone can thrive, grow, and develop, both students and staff. Here, we work in teams in close collaboration with student health services to enable a comprehensive view of students' studies and well-being. We have a staff with a mix of ages, and we have recently encountered three parental leaves occurring closely together in time.
The school has a clear focus on international networking and holds Erasmus accreditation, providing well-funded opportunities for collaboration and exchanges with other countries, primarily within the EU. The school has excellent ICT conditions, with all students using laptops in a one-to-one solution and digital learning materials in all subjects, good access to digital support materials, and a well-functioning learning portal for planning, communication, grading, and assessment. We have been working for a couple of years with the Swedish National Agency for Education's SKUA training for language and knowledge-developing methods. Job Responsibilities:
The position encompasses necessary teaching duties. Through close collaboration with fellow teachers, resource persons, student health teams, and school management, you contribute to creating an environment characterized by stability, security, and structure. Together, you work to promote student learning, strengthen their self-esteem, and foster motivation for continued studies.
We are currently looking for three substitutes in the subjects of English, Mathematics, Natural Sciences (Chemistry, Physics, Biology), Physical Education and Health, Modern Languages (German), and Home Economics. Currently, the positions are distributed as follows, but this may change depending on the qualifications we recruit for the substitutes. The subject combinations of the regular positions are:
• Eng / Ma
• PE / Science
• Ger / Home Ec
With us, you will primarily work with one grade, but you may also have individual classes/groups in other grades.
We are looking for candidates who have (mandatory requirements):
• Teaching qualifications/teaching certification in the subjects of English, Mathematics, Natural Sciences, Physical Education, German, or Home Economics.
• A good ability to use digital tools.
It is advantageous if you:
• Have prior experience in the profession.
• Are familiar with the objectives of the curriculum and governing documents.

Scope:
The positions are substitutes for approximately one year each. All positions are full-time, 100%.
Recruitment and Start Date:
Selection and interviews may occur on an ongoing basis. Therefore, you may be contacted before the application deadline depending on subject competencies among applicants. Start dates are from January to March as agreed, depending on subject combinations. The positions will be filled upon the necessary decisions being made.
Salary:
Individual salary setting.
