The Culture and Leisure Administration oversees the municipality's libraries, music and arts school, sports halls and facilities, open youth activities, grants for associations and study organizations, cultural activities, Vårby Library with Children's Art, Fullersta Farm, art purchases, and distribution of scholarships and prizes in sports and culture.
1 position with 25% scope. Start date by agreement until December 31, 2026.
Work tasks include staffing Flemingsberg Library and reception during regular opening hours. To thrive with us, you should enjoy meeting and guiding visitors of all ages, backgrounds, and varying life situations. Evening and weekend shifts are included according to schedule.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who:
• Has a library science degree
• Can communicate well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. Additional languages are meritorious
• Has experience interacting with people in a service setting, preferably from public libraries
• Has good computer skills
It is meritorious if you:
• Have experience with relevant systems (personnel, financial, and library systems) or have documented ability to learn and use similar systems
• Have experience from service-oriented professions
• Have experience working with children and youth
As a person, you are structured, have good collaborative skills, and a high service orientation. You understand and act from a civil servant perspective and can represent the organization and the municipality. You are driven and can plan and organize your tasks. You efficiently switch between different tasks and enjoy the service role. You need to be able to handle high workloads at times.
