Ängsviken is located in central Henån by the harbor. The residence consists of three permanent units and one short-term unit. Large parts of the residence have recently been renovated, and the plan is to renovate all areas to create a pleasant environment for living, visiting, and working in. Currently, there are two somatic units and one dementia unit. There is a total capacity for 51 residents at Ängsviken. As an employee, you will belong to one unit but are expected to collaborate with the other units in the building. We are currently seeking nursing assistants for the somatic unit, Kajutan.

Your tasks
As a nursing assistant within the Care Sector of Orust Municipality, you will work based on a salutogenic approach, which means a focus on the individual's quality of life. This approach should lead to good and safe care, where the individual achieves meaningfulness, comprehensibility, and manageability in their life situation through participation. The role also includes performing delegated health and medical care tasks. Documentation is part of the daily work, along with ongoing follow-up. Your mission is characterized by responsibility, interaction, and striving for the best possible meetings. We offer you a meaningful and varied job with the opportunity to make a difference.
About you
You should have completed the Care and Nursing program or equivalent education that the employer considers comparable, and possess qualifications as a nursing assistant. Basic IT skills are a requirement.
As a person, you have a strong work ethic, good communication skills, are self-assured, and interact with people in an engaged and professional manner. You are positive, see possibilities, are flexible, and enjoy working in a changing environment. You should be innovative and open to alternative working methods that focus on the individual. You are organized and structured and can collaborate well with others. Above all, you should find it rewarding and stimulating to work with the care of the individual. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
Other information:
Working hours/duration: Full-time, 12 months with the possibility of extension up to 18 months depending on operational needs.
Salary: Individual salary setting; please indicate salary expectations.
Start date: January 5, 2025, or as agreed.
