We are a dedicated and popular parent cooperative that has been operating in Gothenburg since 1992. Since August 2011, our premises have been located in Stora Torp Castle in Örgryte along the 5 tram line. The preschool was established with the aim of providing children with a secure start in life by offering a preschool with a high staff-to-child ratio and, above all, by placing Montessori pedagogy at the center. This means that parents and staff collaborate with a focus on the child's individual development. We are a small preschool with two departments: one for toddlers and another for our 3 to 6-year-olds. With a lovely park/forest environment right outside our door, outdoor education is close to our hearts. Our team consists of 8 people, including one kitchen manager who works part-time with the children.
About You
We are looking for someone with experience working in a preschool environment or in other roles involving children. Other valuable experiences include working in a café or kitchen setting. Experience with scouting or other outdoor activities is a significant plus, as we regularly try to prepare snacks and sometimes lunches in nature. Our lunch meals are prepared at another location and delivered to us daily. Your main tasks will include serving food, preparing snacks, and handling the dishes. Each week, you will bake with some of the children. It is important to us that you are driven and enjoy creating meaningful, educational, and interesting activities for the children alongside our educators. The kitchen is a well-integrated part of our daily operations, and you will also have some working hours with the children, always together with other educators. You should also be flexible, easy to collaborate with, and have a big heart. ✔ Has experience working in a kitchen, enjoys baking, and taking care of simple kitchen tasks

✔ Is fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written
