The Individual and Family Services in Mönsterås Municipality consists of four units: the Adult and Family Law Unit, the Child, Youth, and Foster Care Unit, the Treatment and Support Housing Unit, and the Assistance Unit. Each unit has a unit manager who leads and distributes the work. The unit manager is also available for support and guidance in daily tasks. The Adult Unit is divided into a group that works with financial assistance and a group that addresses harmful use and dependency, as well as violence in close relationships, along with a family law secretary. Due to a parental leave, we are now seeking reinforcement, and we need you. We specifically need support in financial assistance. The administrative aspect involves investigative work where you assess and evaluate the individual's situation and need for assistance and support, making decisions on interventions based on applicable legislation and delegation orders. We place great emphasis on good communication, well-founded decisions, and high legal certainty in our investigative work. The social work primarily focuses on motivating and encouraging the individual's opportunities for self-sufficiency and, when necessary, assisting in contact with other key actors. You will collaborate with the municipality's Employment Unit, the Public Employment Service, the Social Insurance Agency, the Region, among others. We can offer you a varied and meaningful job where you can make a difference for individuals. You will be part of a workgroup consisting of four social workers and will closely collaborate with other units within Individual and Family Services, focusing on the entire family. QUALIFICATIONS - You are a social worker or have another qualification that the employer deems equivalent. - You have a good ability to understand people's varying living conditions and to meet them with respect and sensitivity. - You find it easy to motivate people to change and work from a salutogenic approach. - You are responsible and capable of working in a structured and independent manner. - You express yourself well in both spoken and written communication. - You are interested in development within the field of work. - You find it stimulating to work in a small municipality with close collaboration and decision-making. We place great importance on personal suitability. Experience in public authority work is an advantage. A driver's license is necessary!
