Rättvik Municipality is perhaps best known for its magnificent nature and its wealth of cultural traditions in music and art.
The Northern School District consists of Ingels, Boda, and Furudal schools, which are three smaller schools located in picturesque villages surrounded by forest and land.
The schools have access to a student team with special education teachers, school nurse, career counselor, counselor, and principal who coordinate efforts and provide support. We also have a break and safety team working to develop these activities.
We are part of the IBIS research project focused on Classroom Leadership. The schools are characterized by a strong collaborative spirit and a desire to create good conditions for our students.
Job Description
In this teaching role, you will instruct students in middle and high school levels. You will be part of a team where colleagues support each other in both pedagogical thoughts and student matters.
The position is located at two schools, Furudal and Boda, and you will be responsible for two craft rooms. The assignment is scheduled for Wednesdays and Thursdays and is a temporary position for the spring semester 2026.
Qualifications
We are seeking someone with a teaching certification in the subject. You need to be confident in your leadership. You are responsible, quality-conscious, and have good collaboration skills. You adapt your teaching content for both group and individual needs and find flexible solutions that improve goal achievement.
A police record extract will be required during the interview process, in accordance with the School Act.
