Temporary Position: Physical Education Teacher, Töjnaskolan in Sollentuna
Töjnaskolan is a newly built, three-track school with 800 students from preschool to grade 9.
The school is located in central Sollentuna with excellent communications.
Our operations are based on the core values of CAN – Knowledge, Responsibility, and Curiosity. We prioritize safety, high expectations, and collaboration. We work in teams and view collegial learning as an integral part of our efforts to provide each student with the best conditions for development and learning.
We have a dedicated student health team that works closely with instruction and in close collaboration with the school's educators.
Job Description
Our focus is on creating good conditions for our students to develop and achieve strong results. We are now seeking a teacher who will teach Physical Education and potentially other subjects. Grade levels will depend on combination and qualifications.
Work will occur in engaged and competent teams that provide opportunities for collaboration and development, as well as a sharing culture that contributes to collegial learning - all for the students' benefit and with a focus on their continued development.
Qualifications
- Teaching certification valid for grades 1-9
- Present, engaged, and experienced in taking responsibility for student learning
- Self-motivated and able to lead, motivate, and create student engagement that contributes to their development
- Strong collaborative abilities and capable of working well with others in a sensitive and smooth manner
Experience with ICT, Infomentor, and Google Classroom is meritorious.
