About Us
Njurcentrum offers dialysis care in both Karlskrona and Karlshamn.
Together, we are a team of over 40 employees striving to provide the best possible care to our patients. At our Dialysis Clinic within Njurcentrum, we treat patients with kidney diseases and have a strong collaboration among doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, medical secretaries, kitchen staff, physiotherapists, dietitians, and social workers. All to ensure holistic care for our patients.
About the Job
We are now seeking a kitchen assistant to join our cheerful team in the kidney department, who can independently manage the kitchen, food handling, orders, and food serving. The work includes serving breakfast and pre-prepared lunches, as well as snacks and dishwashing. Stock orders and unpacking of supplies are also part of the role.
The work is based on a person-centered approach, which means that the patient is actively involved in their dialysis treatment. This is a challenging and exciting task.
Training will be provided alongside an experienced colleague. You will receive an individual introduction period so you can feel confident before working independently on the department.
About You
We hope you have experience in kitchen work and food service, as well as knowledge of food safety. You should have completed your secondary education and have some computer skills. It is important that you have an interest in care, as you will interact with patients undergoing dialysis daily. The work is independent, and you will shape your day according to the patients and their needs. As a person, you are engaged, meticulous, and flexible. Personal suitability is highly valued. Interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis.
Applicants who are on the verge of employment must provide a certificate from the police authority's criminal record register before employment.
