Innovitaskolan Banérporten is a well-established school in Östermalm, Stockholm, that has been operating for many years. It is close to Gärdet, Djurgården, and many of the city's museums. Our operations began in 1992 as a private after-school care service. In 1997, we expanded our operations to include preschool, and in 2002, we started school operations for preschool class to grade 6. Today, there are 384 students enrolled in the school and 142 children in our preschool.

With a focus on future competencies, we educate our students to become confident individuals who can communicate freely and navigate effortlessly in the new digital landscape. We combine traditional teaching with modern tools and methods to provide our children and students with the right conditions in a changing world. Our facilities are located in the neighborhoods around Gustav Adolfsparken in Östermalm, Stockholm. The premises are adapted for each activity's purpose, and the proximity to the beautiful parks nearby offers fantastic opportunities for children of all ages.
We are looking for a licensed primary school teacher for grades 4-6 with experience working with middle school students. You will take over a grade 4 class starting February 2nd until June 26th. Ideally, you should have qualifications/experience in mathematics and natural sciences.
Your Profile: Our operations are characterized by the guiding principles of safety, joy, and development. We actively work with soft values, which provide good conditions for learning and development. Our work is marked by a high level of engagement from everyone working at the school. We practice relational leadership in the classroom and maintain close collaboration with our guardians.
Our goal is for students to be well-prepared for high school, with strong subject knowledge, good study skills, and high social competence. At Innovitaskolan Banérporten, we use a varied approach where ideas and inspiration are drawn from different educational models. The common starting point is that we want to stimulate the desire and joy of learning. We are convinced that learning largely occurs through interaction and communication with others. As a teacher, you are attentive and wish to guide students into the future. You are clear in your leadership and have good experience in leading student groups. Therefore, we seek someone with a strong personal commitment to learning, a passionate interest in developing our students' knowledge, and a collegial approach, preferably with humor and warmth.
As a teacher with us, you will work closely with your colleagues in your work team. In the work team, you will collaborate on the grade level and the aspects related to mentorship. In subject teams, you will cooperate with your subject colleagues in planning and assessment.
