What can we offer you?
Floby School is a preschool through 9th grade school with approximately 350 students. The high school level has two parallel classes with around 130 students. Our focus is creating a good study environment for our students and preparing them well for high school and life thereafter. The high school eligibility for our students has been around 90% in the past two years.
What are we looking for in you?
You should have a teaching qualification with authorization to teach in primary and lower secondary school (preschool through 9th grade), preferably in science and/or social studies. In your role, you are expected to cover for regular teachers during their absence - additional information will be provided during a potential interview.
We are seeking someone who, by being a secure and clear teacher with high subject expertise, can help us maintain our good goal achievement.
It is important that you have good collaborative skills, can easily adapt to changing conditions, and take initiative in your work. As a person, you are calm in difficult situations. Much of the daily work is done independently, so it is important that you enjoy working autonomously.
Your work will include planning, implementing, and evaluating the pedagogical work at the school. You will also work to create a safe and stimulating work environment for both students and educators.
We value our good collaboration, and together with the team and student health team, we will create conditions for students' knowledge development to reach curriculum and course plan goals.
For us, good group dynamics are important, so we place great emphasis on personal suitability.

In this recruitment, we will have ongoing selection, and interviews may be conducted during the advertising period.
The position may potentially be filled internally if excess competence is identified within the organization, in which case this recruitment will be discontinued.
If offered employment, you must present a current extract from the National Police Board's criminal record register for work in schools or preschools in Sweden.
