We believe in both close and coaching leadership. About Us The Housing Unit is one of seven units within Individual and Family Care, belonging to the Social and Care Administration. The unit consists of two housing consultants, three housing guides, an administrator, and a deputy unit manager. The unit is responsible for housing issues and eviction prevention work. About the Position One of the housing consultants will be on parental leave. Therefore, we are now seeking a deputy housing consultant for the unit with potential for extension. As a Housing Consultant, you will actively work with social housing contracts by: - Investigating, making decisions, and following up on trial apartment decisions. The goal of a social housing contract is for the individual to take over the contract. - Applying tenancy law beyond official authority according to the Social Services Act. - Establishing contracts, terminations, notices of correction, applying for evictions, etc. - Implementing other units' housing interventions. - Executing the Migration Board's decisions and instructions to the municipality regarding refugees according to the Settlement Act and Mass Displacement Directive. - Collaborating with landlords, enforcement authorities, and other agencies to prevent housing insecurity. - Participating in various collaboration forums, including SIP meetings, network meetings, and official meetings. - Eviction prevention work. - In the future, interventions such as training apartments and Housing First may become relevant. The Housing Consultant will investigate and make decisions in these cases. - Supporting colleagues during their absence. Are You the One We're Looking For? We are seeking someone who has: - A Social Work degree or equivalent higher education as assessed by the employer. - Experience with official authority within Social Services. - Experience working with people with some form of social challenges. - B driver's license It is meritorious if you have: - Experience as a social worker focusing on adults, such as financial assistance and/or housing issues. - Knowledge of housing legal matters. As a person, you are structured, confident, and collaborative with strong communication skills. For us, this means working with the client in focus. You easily collaborate both internally and externally. Furthermore, you need to be analytical and able to take initiative, with an easy ability to see connections in complex information. You are flexible and not afraid to make decisions. You organize your work well and ensure the completion of tasks within set deadlines.
