The Position Offers The Swedish Armed Forces' Technical and Sustainment Office Logistics (TVK Log) is seeking a Sustainment Leader for the Management and Supply Accounting Department. About the Unit TVK Log is a central player in the Armed Forces' logistics management. We are responsible for ensuring that supplies and equipment are available and meet the needs of combat units – in peace, crisis, and war. This also means that we create the conditions necessary for the Armed Forces' sustainability in areas such as fuel, food, and ammunition. The unit consists of approximately 110 employees with a broad range of expertise in technology, logistics, and management. TVK Log is primarily composed of civilian personnel with an even distribution between women and men. The management is based in Boden, but we are represented at several locations across the country. Our work is built on trust, collaboration, and a clear mission – to enable accessible combat units through the right materials at the right time. Main Responsibilities As a Sustainment Leader for the service support area, you will play a central role in ensuring that the service support requested by the Armed Forces is task-assigned with accompanying agreements at all conflict levels. You are responsible for developing sustainment plans, improving work methods, and following up on the contractual area. You will lead/participate in sustainment groups and sustainment meetings within your area. In this role, you will plan, coordinate, and report within the assigned area of responsibility. You will ensure that needs are identified and met according to operational requirements and also participate in procurements and orders for services. You will collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders and actively work to identify and drive improvements within the assigned area of responsibility. Requirements Qualifications • University degree or equivalent (in areas such as logistics, engineering, or economics) or equivalent competence acquired in another way that the employer deems equivalent • Good experience with complex IT support systems within the logistics area • B driver's license. Personal Attributes As a person, you have excellent collaborative skills while also being able to work independently. You are development-oriented, driven, and take initiative. The position requires strong analytical abilities and a well-developed capacity to see connections. You are communicative and pedagogical and are skilled at expressing yourself verbally and in writing in both Swedish and English. You will have significant personal responsibility for solving assigned tasks, which requires you to prioritize and work in a structured manner. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. Meritorious • Documented experience in requirement specification regarding IT support systems • Documented experience in a project management role • Documented experience working in the public sector. Other Information The position is a civilian role that is a permanent full-time position. A six-month probationary period will apply for those who are not already permanently employed within the Armed Forces. Work Location: Boden Travel in the line of duty may occur.
