JOB DESCRIPTION
As a project manager, you will be responsible for the planning, management, and execution of construction projects within production and the existing portfolio. The role is broad and encompasses everything from initiation to handover.
Our focus is on sustainable future housing, preserving the value of properties, reducing environmental impact, and ensuring tenants' everyday safety and comfort. All to create the conditions necessary to achieve our goals and visions.
As a project manager, you have overall responsibility for the execution of projects, which includes planning, design, procurement, implementation, follow-up, and handover. You will steer and lead projects from start to finish. This can involve everything from new construction, renovations, and transformations to various maintenance efforts.
Furthermore, the tasks include ensuring compliance with applicable building legislation and Vidingehem's own requirements, thus ensuring quality throughout the projects. You will participate in developing the department's working methods and routines.
The work involves collaboration with several external parties such as consultants, suppliers, contractors, authorities, and tenants, among others. Additionally, you will provide support within the company with your expertise.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with a degree in construction engineering or equivalent experience, and to be considered for the role, you should have several years of project management experience in the industry.
You are a skilled project manager who feels confident in the project management role. You understand the importance of capturing the various aspects present in a project, resulting in projects being completed within the allocated frameworks. Furthermore, we expect you to have good knowledge of building legislation, contract law, procurement, and industry regulations.
You possess a strong ability to collaborate, build good relationships, and work with various stakeholders. Your drive is combined with a structured and solution-focused approach with a focus on results and impact. You can work independently and have the ability to see both details and the bigger picture.
You have excellent and clear communication skills and express yourself fluently in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. You have good computer skills and knowledge of administration. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
OTHER
The position is based in Växjö, and you will be part of an engaged team where we support each other and work towards common goals. The role comes with significant personal responsibility but also a culture characterized by collaboration, care, and development. You will report to the Head of Property Development and have contact with many different functions both within the company and externally.
