About Patia Ankarholmen
Patia Ankarholmen is a collective supported living facility located south of Umeå. Here, we provide individually tailored support to adult clients facing substance use issues, mental health challenges, co-occurring disorders, criminal behavior, or other socially destructive behaviors. Placements are made at the request of the social services.
Our mission is to create a safe, structured, and professional environment where each client is given the opportunity to strengthen their skills and take steps towards a more stable and independent life.
About the Position
As a casual support worker, you will work during the absence of regular staff. You will actively participate in the daily operations of the unit, working closely with clients and providing support based on individual needs. Work shifts include days, evenings, and weekends, including on-call duties.
Your responsibilities will include, among others:
• Support conversations and motivational work.
• ADL support (e.g., structure, cleaning, cooking, daily routines).
• Assistance with authority contacts or healthcare contacts.
• Documentation and record-keeping in accordance with the Social Services Act.
• Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Accompanying clients to healthcare or authority meetings as needed.
Your Profile
You have a genuine interest in working with people and thrive in a role where no two days are the same. We are looking for someone who is self-sufficient, confident, and stable even in situations that require quick assessments.
It is an advantage if you:
• Have or are studying for a relevant qualification, such as treatment educator, social educator, social worker, or other behavioral science education.
• Have experience with the target group or previous work within the social services sector.
• Have knowledge of methods such as MI (Motivational Interviewing), relapse prevention, or Crime as a Lifestyle.

Employment Conditions
• Casual employment.
• Working hours: daytime, evening, and weekend shifts, including on-call duties.
• A background check from the police's suspicion and conviction register is required prior to employment.
