We are now seeking an outgoing individual with several years of experience in pub & restaurant who is ready to take the next step and become part of the team at The Bishops Arms Östersund
As Vice Pub & Restaurant Manager, you will be the Pub Manager's right-hand and a cornerstone of the pub. In addition to creating the atmosphere and putting your mark on the team & pub, you will also be a shift supervisor and problem solver for various tasks that may arise.
You will also step in as pub manager during periods when the regular pub manager is on vacation or business travel. During these periods, you will have personnel responsibility beyond your usual tasks, including staffing the pub, solving problems constructively, and taking operational and ultimate responsibility for ensuring both guests and staff are satisfied.
You should enjoy service and be able to engage staff to develop our concept and contribute to strengthening our brand in the market.
The work is fundamentally operations-based, as you will be one of the public faces and responsible for product quality. However, some administrative tasks such as weekly orders, cleaning our beer system (we will teach you), and updating our social media and the Untappd app are also included.
To succeed in this position, good knowledge of beer, food, and beverages in general is required, along with a great passion for service and the ability to lead staff transparently.
Scope according to agreement (between 70-90%), shift work, day, evening, and weekend
