The Elderly Sector in Kil Municipality is responsible for administrative duties regarding elderly care and social psychiatry according to the Social Services Act and interventions according to the Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments (LSS). The sector is also responsible for implementing all elderly care, municipal healthcare, rehabilitation, memory team, and caregiver support. Description The Elderly Sector is seeking nursing assistants for specialized housing. Work Tasks Your primary tasks include performing qualified care and service work for residents in the units. You will meet individual care and service needs based on an established implementation plan. You will also perform certain healthcare interventions delegated by a nurse. The work includes documentation in the Lifecare documentation system. When needed, we also work with the BPSD tool. Qualifications - Degree from the Healthcare and Care Program or other education deemed equivalent by the employer. - Experience working with people with dementia, low-affective approach, and the BPSD tool is meritorious. - As a person, you should be empathetic, proactive, have a professional approach, and be flexible. - High demands are placed on good collaborative ability and responsibility. You need good judgment and work systematically to feel comfortable working with people who have significant needs for security and support. You should also find it easy to document and communicate both verbally and in writing. Conditions - You must be at least 18 years old. - Work is scheduled for day/evening, on weekdays and weekends.
