We are seeking a specialist in child and adolescent psychiatry for a permanent position as a senior physician within BUP (Child and Adolescent Psychiatry). About us The Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in Region Örebro County (BUP) is part of the Psychiatry Department, a specialist entity with over 900 employees. We consist of three outpatient clinics, a 24-hour inpatient ward with six places, and a day-care unit for small children and their parents. All clinics are centrally located in the city of Örebro. Currently, we have 14 senior physicians and 5 resident physicians in a strong collegial team where you, as a new employee, will play an important role in both clinical work and development. We are looking for senior physicians for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in Region Örebro County. Job Responsibilities As a senior physician, you will work with diagnostics, investigations, and treatment. The work is versatile and also includes initial, acute, and in-depth assessments. In addition to wanting to do the job as well as possible and to increase access to care for our target group, you are expected to be active in teamwork where we develop care and operations together. As a senior physician, you will also be involved in: - Supervision and education of medical students, BT, AT, and ST physicians. - Consultative efforts and collaboration with other stakeholders. - Participation in operational development and improvement work, as well as implementing evidence-based methods. Education and Research BUP Örebro has a close collaboration with the medical program at Örebro University. There is an opportunity to engage in: - Group supervision. - Mentorship. - Research and development projects. Qualifications - Specialist physician in child and adolescent psychiatry. - Good ability to collaborate, and capability to lead medical work. - Sense of responsibility and interest in development and supervision. - Good knowledge of Swedish, equivalent to at least C1 level.
