Land Acquisition Negotiator Wanted!
Are you interested in working on land access issues that shape and improve future infrastructure? We are now seeking Land Acquisition Negotiators based in Luleå, Skellefteå, or Umeå. As a Land Acquisition Negotiator, you'll have the chance to contribute to and support critical road and railway projects of varying complexity and scope!
Job Responsibilities
We are looking for Land Acquisition Negotiators who will work to ensure that the Swedish Transport Administration (Trafikverket) gains access to the land needed for our measures and projects. In this role, you will handle the entire chain of land access issues. This may involve negotiating compensation and encroachment, driving acquisitions and planning, creating property law agreements, or managing damage settlements and disputes. You will actively participate in planning and project design work, represent Trafikverket in cadastral proceedings, and interact with authorities, municipalities, and individual property owners. A significant and important part of the work involves dialogue and negotiation, where you will meet people in various situations and need to build trust and find solutions.

Qualifications
Who are you?
To thrive and succeed as a Land Acquisition Negotiator, you should be confident in yourself and your competence. You have excellent communication skills, which means you convey messages clearly, are attentive, adapt your communication to the recipient, and easily create trustworthy relationships. The role involves work both independently and in groups, so it's important that you are proactive, independently see what needs to be done, and have good collaboration skills and a structured approach.
We are seeking candidates who have:
• A university degree of at least 180 ECTS credits in land surveying/community building, urban planning with a focus on forestry, or law with a focus on property law. Alternatively, you have other relevant academic education combined with experience that we assess as equivalent.
• Several years of current and relevant work experience in property law issues
• Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing
• Driver's license for passenger car
Advantageous if you have:
• Worked with land access
• Experience in negotiation, contract management, and contract interpretation in the property field
