Personal assistance is a service under the LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Certain Functional Impairments). As a personal assistant, you provide individualized support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the client's needs. You will respect the client's autonomy and dignity, and contribute to a smooth daily routine.
About the Position
The role of a personal assistant requires a strong ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and recognize what needs to be done.
We are currently seeking someone who meets the following criteria:
• Wishes to work with a 63-year-old woman living in Östermalm
• Has excellent skills in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Is physically fit and able to perform heavy lifting
• Has experience with manual transfers
• Has experience with PEG (Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy)
• Has experience in similar work
It is also advantageous if you:
• Have experience working with ALS
• Are a trained nursing assistant
• Share the client’s interests, such as plants and interior design
A significant emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
Working Hours, Employment Rate, and Salary:
The current employment form is "As long as the assistance assignment lasts," and the position encompasses approximately 60%. The work involves both day and evening shifts according to a rolling schedule.
Week 1: Monday–Wednesday from 07:30 to 16:00
Week 2: Monday from 15:30 to 22:30 and Friday–Saturday from 07:30 to 16:00
Fixed hourly pay according to agreement, and other compensations will be in accordance with the collective agreement.

Being Employed at Humana
