JOB DESCRIPTION

We are a LSS group accommodation focused on an older target group. We work from a person-centered approach where each individual's needs, wishes, and dreams are at the forefront. With a clear pedagogical approach, we strive to create safety, participation, and self-determination for our residents. We are now looking for a support pedagog who wants to help develop the operations further together with a competent and dedicated team.
As a support pedagog, you have a specific responsibility to develop and ensure the quality of the pedagogical work in everyday life. You work closely with both care recipients and colleagues and have a clear mandate to:
• Plan, implement, evaluate, and document individual implementation plans.
• Plan, lead, develop, and evaluate the pedagogical work in collaboration with the unit manager, support pedagogs, support assistants, and support aides.
• Strengthen the pedagogical approach within the team through guidance and support to colleagues.
• Work based on evidence-based methods such as clear pedagogical practices, low-stimulation responses, and motivational interviewing.
• Participate in developing quality work together with managers and other support pedagogs within the functional support area.
• Carry out physical activities such as walking, swimming, and cycling with residents.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who has:
• Post-secondary education as a support pedagog (e.g., a YH qualification in LSS or equivalent).
• Good knowledge of social documentation, implementation plans, and experience with the LifeCare system.
• Familiarity with low-stimulation responses and clear pedagogical practices.
• Good computer skills and proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
Meritorious:
• Experience working within LSS, preferably in a similar role.
• Experience with evidence-based methods such as motivational interviewing.
• A valid driver’s license.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Working hours are varied and include day and evening shifts, on-call duties, and work every other weekend.
Interviews will be held on the morning of November 18 and the afternoon of November 20.
