Job Responsibilities
As an Electronics Assembler at AP&T, you will work on technically exciting and varied projects where you assemble electrical cabinets and install electrical components in machines and auxiliary equipment. The work is based on technical drawings and electrical documentation from the electrical design department, and you will be involved in both setup and connection before test runs. Using checklists and quality routines, you ensure that every delivery meets high standards.
You will actively participate in the company's improvement and safety efforts, focusing on quality and technical development. In this role, you will be part of an international technology company with high quality demands, delivering to both the North American market (UL) and the rest of the world (IEC).
Working hours are primarily during the day, but shift work may occur. Travel for work may also be required.
Background and Personal Qualities
We are looking for someone with experience in electrical assembly or similar technical work, who enjoys working independently but also values collaboration. You have a technical interest, work in a structured manner, and are accustomed to following drawings and instructions.
In this role, it is important that you are solution-focused, communicative, and comfortable collaborating across departmental boundaries. Together with colleagues, you will help find practical solutions and complete products with high technical quality.
To thrive in the role of Electronics Assembler, we would appreciate if you have:
Requirements:
• Electrical education at the high school level or equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience in electrical or automation work
• Experience working with electrical and pneumatic schematics
• Ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing
• Good computer skills
• A valid driver's license (B-class)
Meritorious:
• Experience in EMC
• Knowledge of machine safety and relevant standards
• Forklift, overhead crane, and lift certifications
• Training in hot work
