We are now looking for a Development Engineer to join our R&D team who wants to be part of Eurenco's success and is driven by working on development issues in a global corporation – right in the expanding city of Karlskoga.
**What Eurenco Offers**
At Eurenco, you will have the opportunity to be part of a rapidly growing organization eager to benefit from your knowledge and experience and to develop together with you. In addition to interesting assignments, wellness benefits, profit-sharing, collective agreements, and other perks, you will also be part of a strong social environment where everyone collaborates to contribute to a sense of security, development, and job satisfaction. All to ensure that you thrive at work!
**The Role of Development Engineer**
The role involves independently and collaboratively planning and conducting pilot-scale experiments and in the factory, as well as being responsible for the industrialization of these projects. The role also includes monitoring developments and expanding the knowledge base within the field of explosives, as well as presenting obtained results at conferences and seminars, both within the company and internationally.
As a Development Engineer, you will drive both customer-funded and self-funded projects and serve as an important support to the technical and production departments.
**Examples of Additional Responsibilities:**
- Participate in and lead development projects, both theoretically and practically, which include planning, executing, and evaluating practical experiments at the pilot scale, scaling up, and ultimately the industrialization of entirely new products and processes.
- Plan, follow up, and report on ongoing projects and work, taking into account economic, safety, and environmental implications for the development and improvement of methods and products.
- Actively participate in risk analyses concerning new or modified processes.
- Represent the company in Swedish and European development projects with both authorities and companies.
The position is multifaceted and, in addition to the above, includes overarching work to contribute to the "One Eurenco" initiative aimed at standardizing processes between sites in Sweden, France, and Belgium, where Eurenco in Karlskoga has an important role to play.
**Who Are We Looking For?**
As a candidate, we are open to both those who have worked for several years in a similar role and those who are relatively newly graduated. The position requires a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent education. We expect that more experienced candidates have led development projects with multiple stakeholders and/or have industrial experience in the process industry.
We assume that you have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, and possess a valid driver's license (B). We require Swedish citizenship due to regulatory requirements and customer collaborations that necessitate this.
We will place great emphasis on your personal qualities. We are looking for a practical individual who is eager to learn new things and is stimulated by the opportunity to delve into and explore new technology. You are flexible, proactive, and have the ability to combine your theoretical knowledge with practical application. Furthermore, you find the process industry and development exciting and feel comfortable switching between participating in or leading projects both practically and theoretically. You place great value on accuracy and a methodical approach.
Your social skills are very important as this role involves close collaboration with the technical department, production units, process engineers, and colleagues in the development department.
