Innovitaskolan consists of 26 preschools and primary schools created to meet future needs. We combine traditional teaching with modern tools and methods to provide our children and students with skills and the right conditions in a changing world. Innovitaskolan schools are located throughout Sweden, from Kalix in the north to Landskrona in the south. Innovitaskolan is part of AcadeMedia's primary schools.
About the School
Innovitaskolan Farstaäng was founded in 1995. In 2021, the school became part of Innovitaskolan and Academedia. It is an independent preschool to 5th-grade school with after-school care and approximately 240 students. The staff group consists of about 35 employees led by the principal.
Our Facilities

About the Role
We are seeking a development-oriented and clear principal who wants to lead, drive, and develop Innovitaskolan Farstaäng into the future together with employees, students, guardians, and other principals within Innovitaskolan and Pops Academy's operational area. This is an enjoyable and developmental principal assignment where you will develop and drive the operations alongside competent employees. You will receive support from your school chief and a network of principal colleagues within Innovitaskolan and Pops Academy. Additionally, you will collaborate with central staff functions in quality, finance, HR, legal, IT, communication, and marketing.
As principal, you have overall responsibility for students, employees, quality, finances, and work environment. You will lead an active preventive and promotional effort where safety, study peace, and student well-being are at the center. Together with the school's student health team, you will work strategically to create good conditions for all students' learning and development.
The role also includes responsibility for property issues, meal matters, and marketing. You will have access to central expertise in HR, finance, property, and quality. You will lead the school in a present, clear, and caring manner towards common goals for students' best interests. As principal, you are Innovitaskolan's representative in external contexts and authority contacts, reporting to the responsible school chief.

You are well-versed in primary school governing documents and experienced in systematic quality work, with experience managing financial responsibility. You are perceived as a clear, secure, and attentive school leader with the ability to implement change processes. You have a great ability to plan and prioritize your time based on the operation's and students' best interests. You show curiosity about the future and our world and are driven by the opportunity to make an impact. You are an entrepreneurial and driven school leader with the ability to build contacts and establish collaborations in society and the business world to "put the school on the map" for students' and the operation's benefit. You deliver what you promise and strive to achieve results with the highest possible quality. An important characteristic in the role to succeed is your ability to work together with your staff group.
Qualification Profile:
• Experience as principal/assistant principal with personnel management
• Experience with financial responsibility
• Experience leading school development and change management
• Experience building a collaborative, safe, motivating, and engaging staff culture
• Courage to make difficult decisions, stand by those decisions, and make the necessary trade-offs to create the best possible operation for our students and employees
Meritorious:
Completed or ongoing state principal training. School leadership experience from primary school and after-school care.
