Your Workplace
Psychiatric Outpatient Care Karlstad currently consists of three diagnosis-oriented clinics and an administrative care unit. On November 10th, we will reorganize and will subsequently have four clinics focused on general psychiatry.
At Psychiatric Outpatient Care Karlstad, we work with both individual and group-based interventions. We work together in teams around the patient, including psychologists, nurses, social workers, occupational therapists, psychotherapists, healthcare administrators, nurses, and physicians.
We continuously work on developing methods in line with national care and intervention programs, while maintaining a work environment that goes hand in hand with patient safety. You will collaborate with us in the organization to shape the role and mission of the psychologist at our clinic. The work is flexible and independent but also involves significant team collaboration.

Your Responsibilities
As a psychologist at Psychiatric Outpatient Care Karlstad, you will work with neuropsychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, in-depth psychological evaluations, psychoeducation, and psychological treatment in group or individual settings.
Part of your role as a psychologist will be contributing your psychological expertise in treatment and referral conferences. Your assignment includes method development and quality assurance as part of the team and in collaboration with other clinics. If you are qualified, you may also supervise psychology candidates, psychology assistants, and PTP psychologists.
Your Knowledge and Competencies
You are a licensed psychologist. Experience in psychiatric outpatient care and/or specialist training is meriting. You have excellent Swedish language skills, both verbally and in writing.
