We are currently seeking a dedicated lathe operator, preferably with experience in Okuma machines, to join our lathe team. We value the right attitude and potential more than just extensive experience. With us, you will have the opportunity to grow and develop.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone who:
• Thinks outside the box: You have the ability to analyze and solve problems, even when the solution is not obvious. In our small workshop, your problem-solving skills are invaluable.
• Is eager to learn and flexible: You are not afraid to learn new things and adapt to new routines. We will train you – what matters is your willingness!
• Is skilled in reading technical drawings: You are proficient in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and measuring components according to specifications.
• Is comfortable with manual machine operation: You can independently operate the machine to change tools, set tool compensation, and verify that the first article after adjustment is within tolerance.
• Is knowledgeable about maintenance: You have an understanding of daily and weekly machine maintenance and are comfortable performing these tasks independently after learning our procedures.
• Has programming knowledge and the ability to set up a machine before a new job.
What can we offer?
You will initially work during the day. Please note that in the future, there may be a requirement for permanent evening or rotating shifts.
The position is full-time with an immediate start.
