Job Description
As a substitute worker, you will have a flexible role, allowing you to make yourself available based on your own schedule and be booked according to the needs of the units. You will actively manage your availability in the booking system.
In elderly care, you will work with individuals in home care or at a care and nursing home. You will meet them in their daily lives and ensure that each personâs needs for care and support are met. If you work in home care, the job involves a lot of solitary work, and all tasks are performed in the client's home environment. If you instead work at a care and nursing home, you will collaborate with colleagues on a unit. Common to both areas is that you support the clients with their daily hygiene, personal care, meal assistance, mobility, social interaction, and encourage activity.
We have home care groups and care and nursing homes in various parts of the municipality. Some units are centrally located in Ulricehamn, while others are a bit further out.
We are now looking for substitute workers who are willing to work nights at some of our units!
Qualifications
We are looking for individuals who have a genuine interest in working with people. Previous experience in working with individuals and/or in healthcare is advantageous for this position. It is highly meritorious if you have training in care and nursing and experience working night shifts. In home care, it is a requirement that you hold a valid driver's license (B), as driving is part of the job. We prefer our substitute workers to be able to work at least three shifts per week.
Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
