About the position
As a press brake operator, you will work with shaping and bending sheet metal components based on drawings and specifications. You will be responsible for setting up, programming, and monitoring the press brake machine, as well as ensuring that production maintains the correct quality and pace. You will closely collaborate with other operators and the production team to create an efficient workflow and deliver top-quality products.
Your main responsibilities
The tasks include:
- Setting up and programming press brake machines based on technical drawings.
- Bending sheet metal components to the correct dimensions and shapes.
- Inspecting and measuring the processed products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Performing preventive maintenance on machines and ensuring they are in good condition.
- Collaborating with the production team to optimize workflow and minimize deviations.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone who has:
- Experience working with press brakes, preferably with CNC-controlled machines.
- A good understanding of technical drawings and specifications.
- Experience in measurement techniques and precision in verifying that finished products meet specifications.
- The ability to work independently and responsibly.
- A technical interest and a desire to continuously develop your knowledge in machining.
- It is advantageous if you have experience with different sheet thicknesses and materials, as well as an understanding of various bending methods.
