The Growth Department is now seeking a strategic developer who wants to contribute to long-term and sustainable growth work through project development and collaboration.

About the Position
The Growth Department works with strategic development issues both short and long-term to make Härnösand an even better place to live and work. We lead and participate in multiple projects and networks where cooperation is key to success.
In this role, you will:
• Initiate, drive, and coordinate externally funded projects.
• Follow up on the municipality's participation in external projects.
• Provide support and advice in application processes.
• Contribute with investigations, business development, communication, and case management for political bodies.
Qualifications
We are seeking candidates who have:
• University education in economics or other qualifications deemed meritorious by the employer.
• Good knowledge of EU funds, national, and regional project resources.
• Strategic ability and holistic perspective that contributes to municipal development.
• Ability to monitor the external environment and develop existing structures.
Meriting factors include:
• Experience in project management and communication.
• Knowledge of working in a politically governed organization.
• Experience with project economics and external co-financing.
As a person, you are positive, engaged, and relationship-oriented. You work independently, are creative and goal-oriented, with the ability to find new solutions through environmental scanning.
