Are you interested in helping build an entirely new exhibition environment at Örebro County Museum? Are you a recently graduated exhibition producer driven by working across subject and knowledge boundaries? Then this is an opportunity for you.
Are you the one we're looking for?
You have the will and ability to collaborate broadly with colleagues across all disciplines within the organization and can be both receptive and proactive. You are accustomed to managing multiple activities simultaneously. You communicate well verbally and in writing and have strong analytical skills. As a person, you are social and network-oriented. You need to be unpretentious and open to creative solutions. You must be organized, flexible, and willing to engage in both exhibition production content and form as well as more everyday and practical matters. In the selection process, we place great importance on personal qualities.
About the Exhibitions
Örebro County Museum is an important institution for the city and county's cultural life. The museum aims to be an accessible and relevant destination for the county's residents and tourists. We want to illuminate and renew the relationship between people and the past because we believe this increases the possibility of participation in today's community building. The museum works with several fundamental themes such as the view of knowledge, how we create our communities, and cultural sustainability.
Our ambition is for the exhibitions in our new museum to be thematically interconnected. The building has significant architectural values that will be utilized in the exhibition halls. Furthermore, we want the new exhibitions to touch visitors, provide an aesthetic experience, and create an overall impression that is more than the sum of its parts.

We are now seeking an Exhibition Assistant who will collaborate with the museum's exhibition producer, collection curators, and other functions to help develop the museum's new exhibitions.
