About this role
Are You a Solution-Focused Person Who Likes Challenges?
We are now seeking an amazing social advisor who can fill the shoes of our parental leave colleague and who has a genuine interest and experience with our target group.
About the Role and Your Work Tasks
With us, you will have a varied, independent, and important job working with Lund residents who have or have had a harmful use or dependency and/or suffer from mental health issues. You will receive a comprehensive introduction to the work, good opportunities for skills development, and continuous support from your colleagues and manager. Our unit is characterized by a positive spirit, and we are committed to finding the best support for our users.
In your role, you will develop implementation plans and map users' support needs and abilities together with them, conduct regular evaluations, and participate in SIP and other important meetings. We collaborate broadly with social workers, relatives, guardians, and regional/primary healthcare. Your daily work is based on each user's individual implementation plan, which may involve support with tasks such as cleaning, cooking, and shopping. You motivate users towards activity and occupation, both inside and outside their residence, to break isolation and work towards independence, self-sufficiency, and long-term independent living.
Regular documentation is part of your work with us.
To assist you in your work as a social advisor, you will have access to a pedagogical coordinator, unit administrator, and a team of colleagues who support and strengthen each other.
We Are Looking for You
We seek someone who has completed higher education or vocational training in social psychiatry, social pedagogy, social work, or another education that the employer deems relevant. You need to have good self-awareness, be able to lead yourself, and make well-founded decisions based on the organization's best interests.
Knowledge of social documentation is required, and previous experience with the Lifecare system is meritorious.
We prefer candidates with work experience in dependency issues, social psychiatry/comorbidity, and good knowledge of the target group. You need to have excellent collaboration skills, ability to create structure, plan, and take responsibility. You should be humble, clear, and recognize the equal value of all people.

As an employee, you will be offered a range of benefits focused on balance, security, and health. Lund Municipality is a large organization with many exciting operations and opportunities for employee development. As an employee, you will also have access to our benefits portal where you can easily view and administer your benefits.

About the Workplace
At Support Housing for Adults, we work with individuals who have been outside of society for several years, have or have had harmful use or dependency and mental health issues, and need support to become free from their dependency. The unit is designed as a transitional housing facility where users rent their apartments secondhand and where staff also have offices and shared spaces with users. The goal is to help users move on to long-term housing and strengthen their abilities/connect to other support to make users as independent as possible. Users stay with us an average of 6-18 months. We have six social advisors working day/evening/weekend, four supervisors working night shifts, a pedagogical coordinator, and a unit manager. We work on a schedule and every third weekend. Our work method is continuously developed to best meet Lund residents' needs, and we hope you want to help us become even better. We are a cheerful team that welcomes a new colleague with open arms. If you have an idea or interest that benefits the operation and users, we will test it. The work group with the manager likes challenges and development, and we share a motto: "There are no problems that do not have a solution, and together we will find it." If you are passionate about our target group, have a solution-focused approach and drive, and like challenges, then you are the right colleague for us.
