About this role
Innovitaskolan consists of 26 preschools and primary schools created to meet future needs. We combine traditional teaching with modern tools and methods to provide our children and students with competencies and the right conditions in a changing world. Innovitaskolan schools are located throughout Sweden, from Kalix in the north to Landskrona in the south. Innovitaskolan is part of AcadeMedia's primary schools.
Innovitaskolan Luleå is a preschool through 9th-grade school with an integrated preschool where safety, curiosity, and hope for the future are at the center. The school is located in a quiet area near both nature and the city, creating good conditions for learning in a harmonious environment. Here, students are met by committed teachers, clear structures, and a warm culture where we see each child as unique. We actively work to build relationships, create participation, and develop teaching so that all students have the opportunity to reach their full potential.
At Innovitaskolan, we value close collaboration between school, after-school programs, and preschool classes, and we strive to give our students a common thread throughout their schooling. We have a strong focus on both knowledge development and social learning, and we believe in the power of collegial collaboration and systematic quality work. Here, the future is shaped with joy, care, and high ambitions together.
A School Created for Future Needs
The future is full of possibilities. At Innovitaskolan, we educate for every future. Our work involves creating a good educational environment where we can provide our children and students with knowledge and competencies for an ever-changing future.
Your Mission
As a school nurse with us, you will become an important part of a warm and family-like school where we know our students well and where relationships are at the center of everything we do. Here, you will work in a health-promoting and preventive manner, focusing on ensuring that each student feels well, thrives, and is given the best conditions to achieve their goals.
You will be part of the school's student health team and work closely with the school doctor, special education teacher, psychologist, counselor, and principal. Together, we work to create a safe, inclusive, and positive school environment where student health and learning go hand in hand. Your duties include conducting health visits and health consultations according to the base program, managing vaccinations according to the general vaccination program, and offering an open reception for students seeking support, advice, or just someone to talk to. You are an integral part of preventive work and contribute your medical expertise in both daily operations and school development.
We are looking for a licensed nurse with specialist training in healthcare for children and youth or community healthcare. Experience working as a school nurse or with children and youth is meritorious. You are computer-savvy and enjoy working both independently and together with colleagues in cross-professional teams.

Here, you will join a school where collaboration is close, decision-making paths are short, and where we all work towards the same goal: for our students to feel seen, safe, and successful based on their own conditions.
