About the Position
As an engineer focused on site monitoring, you will work directly at the heart of production. You will play a crucial role in the daily management and quality assurance of the project. The role involves both practical work on the construction site and structured documentation tasks. You will monitor work processes, ensure that execution is in accordance with drawings and regulations, and contribute to driving the project forward in a safe and efficient manner.
You will work closely with the site manager, foremen, and other specialists, acting as a link between design and production. Your expertise is essential to ensure correct technical execution, particularly in concrete work.
Examples of Responsibilities
• Daily monitoring of production regarding quality
• Control and documentation of work processes, with a particular focus on concrete
• Verification of self-inspections, deviations, measurement data, and material handling
• Ongoing dialogue with your colleagues in construction management and designers
• Ensuring that work processes are carried out in accordance with applicable standards, AMA, and construction documents
• Active participation in safety work, safety rounds, and risk assessments
Your Competence and Experience
We are looking for someone who is confident in their engineering role and appreciates working in a structured manner in a day-to-day environment that can be both intense and dynamic. To succeed in this position, you need to have a good technical understanding and an analytical approach.
Requirements:
• Engineering degree in construction, civil engineering, or equivalent experience
• Class 1 competence in concrete
• Strong ability to read and understand models and technical descriptions
• Good command of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Familiarity with digital documentation
Meritorious:
• Experience in construction production, preferably in civil engineering
• Experience in monitoring, quality assurance, or work management
• Understanding of the various stages of the construction process
Working Hours
This position is scheduled for afternoon shifts, which means you will play an important role in ensuring handover and continuity between shifts.
