About this role
Workplace Description
We are a small unit located in Vasastan in central Stockholm. Preschool Strutsen is a staff cooperative run by engaged and curious educators with high ambitions. The educators have significant influence over the operations, and all decisions are made close to the activities. We constantly strive to provide all children with a challenging and stimulating environment. The preschool has 59 children divided into three groups. We offer both children and educators a good working environment, and the educators are responsible for as few children as possible, with a ratio of 4 or 5 children per educator depending on the child's age. The operations are conducted in beautiful, spacious facilities of 650 square meters. Outdoors, the children have access to a yard directly connected to the preschool. Our chef prepares meals from scratch using a large proportion of organic ingredients. The preschool has excellent results in both user surveys and in the quality indicators of the City of Stockholm, which we utilize in our systematic quality work.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is a qualified preschool teacher with a preschool teacher certification, or who is awaiting certification. You are child-focused, and your approach should be clear and reflected in everyday practice. You have knowledge of how pedagogical documentation can be used to make children's learning processes visible and to further develop them. In your professional role, you are engaged and driven. Your collaboration skills are very good, and you are accommodating and professional in your interactions with children, guardians, and colleagues. Furthermore, you have strong communication skills in both spoken and written forms. You enjoy leading and motivating others and sharing your experiences and knowledge.

You will participate in parent meetings and development discussions, as well as be responsible for documenting the development and learning of the entire group and each individual child.
