Job Opportunity: Contract Manager for Energy Company in Stockholm
On behalf of our client, we are currently seeking a Contract Manager for a large energy company in Stockholm. The assignment is full-time and expected to start on 2025-12-15 and run through 2026-12-31.
We are looking for a candidate with extensive experience and expertise in Contract Management for land & infrastructure and construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor delivery and performance, ensure compliance with contractual obligations within collaborative construction projects for land & infrastructure (contracts based on AB04). Other contract forms may also be included in the scope.
• Manage contract implementation within dedicated work packages, ensuring parties adhere to contract terms and implement necessary modifications (if required).
• Maintain accurate and updated documentation of all contract activities, including performance reports and compliance documentation.
• Manage/negotiate contract-related disagreements or disputes.
• Conduct regular contract reviews and audits to ensure compliance and identify improvement areas.
• Promote effective communication and collaboration both internally with colleagues and with counterparties/contractors.
• Provide regular updates to work package owners and contract and procurement leaders about contract performance, issues, and solutions.
• Foster a culture of compliance and continuous improvement, ensuring alignment with company contract and project goals.
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to contract compliance, ensuring minimal impact on project timelines and budgets.

Candidate Requirements:
Mandatory:
• Relevant university degree in law or economics
• Extensive experience in contract management in land, infrastructure, or construction (5+ years), preferably with large-scale construction projects
• Deep understanding of contract management principles, procurement processes, and industry standards
• Deep understanding and experience in negotiation techniques
• Documented ability to manage multiple contracts and stakeholders
• Fluency in English and Swedish (spoken and written)
• Knowledge of contract practices and applicable laws, with special focus on collaborative construction & AB04/ABT06
Preferred:
• Competence in contract management software and tools
