About this role
We offer an inspiring job as a staffing specialist at our service office, where you will help shape the future of Coop Nord. You will work in a goal-oriented team that is passionate about creating the greatest possible benefit for our owners – the members.
With us, you will contribute to developing the only genuinely northern food chain in Norrland, with around 85 stores in Västerbotten, Västernorrland, and Jämtland. We give back to the communities where we operate, and you will significantly influence social development.
We value a good balance between work and leisure and want you to gain energy from your work. Whether you live in Umeå, Åre, Sundsvall, or elsewhere in our area, we believe you will find a range of entertainment and outdoor activities that allow you to fill your free time with things that energize you.
In your role as a staffing specialist, your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting store managers in staffing planning/annual planning and training and developing new and existing managers in effective staffing.
- Maintaining close dialogue and prioritizing work in consultation with sales and business area managers.
- Analyzing and comparing relevant key performance indicators based on focus areas and following up on these indicators based on initiatives.
- Leading overarching projects related to staffing and staffing planning.
- Being an expert in Coop Nord's early retirement system and serving as the contact person for the system.
- Staying updated on changes in labor law and agreements and ensuring compliance.
The position of staffing specialist is new to us, and you will be part of the HR team. This means you have a great opportunity to shape the role together with us.
The position is a permanent employment at 100%, with a probationary period applicable.
What is required of you?
To thrive in this role, we believe you:
- Have experience in the grocery industry, preferably in a leadership position.
- Have experience in scheduling/staffing planning.
- Are self-driven and flexible in your work approach while being clear and willing to challenge.
- Are service-oriented with good pedagogical skills.
It is advantageous if you have knowledge of working time regulations and are accustomed to working with legal and regulatory interpretations. We work with the early retirement system TilTid, so knowledge of this system is a plus, but not a requirement.
The position requires travel, which means a valid driver's license (category B) is a requirement.
Great benefits
In addition to a fun job where you have ample opportunities for development, we also offer a range of benefits, such as wellness allowances, loyalty discounts, and the chance for bonuses. We believe there is something that suits you. Read more about all our benefits at coopnord.se.
Does this sound interesting? Great! We look forward to your application.

Selection is ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.
